Dr. Carly Orenstein is a clinical psychologist who practices cognitive-behavior therapy with children, adolescents and adults through individual, family and group therapy. Her specialties include (but are not limited to): Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, depression, divorce, selective mutism, bipolar disorder, anger and stress management, relationship issues, autism spectrum disorders, Tourette’s syndrome, behavioral disorders, and parenting issues.

Dr. Orenstein received her Masters of Arts degree, certificate of School Psychology, and Doctor of Psychology degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her many years as a school psychologist has afforded her with an extensive background in psychological testing, learning disabilities, and classroom interventions for academic and behavioral issues.

Dr. Orenstein has led a variety of social skills and parenting groups both in the schools and in the private practice realm. She frequently lectures to both professional and non-professional groups on a variety of topics including: social skills, Tourette’s syndrome, parenting issues, ADHD, and anxiety. Dr. Orenstein has been a member of the American Psychological Association and the National Association of School Psychologists. She is currently a member of the New Jersey Psychological Association, the New Jersey Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists, the Morris County Psychological Association, the Selective Mutism Group and the Childhood Anxiety Network.
