Kenneth Freundlich, Ph.D.

Dr. Kenneth Freundlich, the Morris Psychological Group’s Managing Partner, heads the Neuropsychology and Consulting Divisions.  With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Freundlich’s practice is exclusively devoted to neuropsychological evaluation and management consultation.

Dr. Freundlich received his B.A. in psychology from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he graduated with honors.  He received both his Masters degree and Ph.D. in clinical psychology, with a specialization in neuropsychology from the University of Florida, where he was awarded presidential recognition for outstanding contribution to the University.  Dr. Freundlich completed his internship training at the Philadelphia Psychiatric Center.  Prior to joining the Morris Psychological Group, he was a staff neuropsychologist at the Pathway School, the Director of Psychological Services at Welkind Rehabilitation Hospital and the Director of Neuropsychology Associates.

Dr. Freundlich has served as an Independent Evaluator for most major insurance companies, and he has testified in New Jersey Superior Court as an expert witness in both civil and criminal cases.  He is also on the Medical Staff at Overlook Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center, where he is a consultant to the BrainWorks Cognitive Rehabilitation Program.

Dr. Freundlich also provides consultation to various public and private organizations.  His corporate clients have included AT&T, The Travelers Group, Finlandia Cheese, AST Bearings and USACS.  He also provides consultation to Roxbury and Mendham Township Police Departments.

Dr. Freundlich is a member of numerous professional organizations, including The American Psychological Association, The New Jersey Psychological Association, The Morris County Psychological Association, The National Academy of Neuropsychology and the New Jersey Neuropsychological Society.  He served two terms on New Jersey Psychological Association’s Ethics Committee as well as two terms on the NJPA Executive Board.  Dr. Freundlich was the NJPA Treasurer from 2012 through 2014, the NJPA President in 2015 and he was selected as New Jersey’s 2018 Psychologist of the Year.  Dr. Freundlich has published within the field and he is a frequent speaker at professional meetings.
