On June 14, 2012, Josh Glawe, LCSW presented, “Presentation: Generation Rx- Redefining the Adolescent Preferred Drug List.” to the Monmouth/Ocean Chapter of NASW.
Increasingly children, adolescents, and young adults are turning to alternative drugs of abuse. They are cheap, often undetectable, readily available, and in many cases completely legal. Mr. Glawe’s presentation focused on the prevalence of prescription and OTC drugs of abuse, addressed misconceptions and myths about abuse, and explored potential solutions.
